Just a short note to celebrate a fantastic writing workshop on Saturday. Generously hosted by the kind folk at the Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, and supported by the Wellcome Collection, a host of talented young people were treated to support from SLAMbassadors’ own Joelle Taylor and rich inspiration from the exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci’s anatomical drawings.
Huge thanks to those of you that came along- travelling from all over the show; from Northern Ireland and Wolverhampton and Surrey and London and I could go on- and wrote your bodies out onto the page, crafting some really amazing pieces of poetry.
